What you’ll be doing:

Your role as Trainee ROV Tooling Technician will be part of our ROV Tooling Department in Stavanger, Norway. Day to day you will be involved in the maintenance, test, and preparation of all aspects of ROV tooling such as, stripping down torque tools, cutters & pumps dredgers to component level.

You will also be involved in the building of new tooling & live simulation testing of tooling, alongside the senior members of the ROV Tooling Team.

This is a great opportunity for a Trainee to join the team as you will be exposed to hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical disciplines and educated on the fundamentals of ROV Tooling.

You will be predominately Workshop based with some offshore trips.

What experience you’ll bring:

We will provide the training to get you up to speed on everything ROV Tooling, but below are some things that will help you to be successful in the role!

• Some experience in a similar role undertaking repair, maintenance, and testing or you have equivalent industry experience.

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Offshore Survival and OGUK Medical preferrable otherwise this will be provided

What you’ll be doing:

Other tasks you will be involved in:

• Carrying out hydraulic and electrical safety tests of equipment.

• Inspecting, testing, repairing, and preparing ROV Tooling equipment.

• Commissioning new ROV tooling equipment.

• Fault Reporting missing or damaged equipment.

• Providing technical support to customers.

• Attending mobilisations and site interface testing.

• Supporting ROV Tooling in offshore locations.

• Maintaining the stock control system used for spares and consumables.

• Complete customer commercial invoice records.

• To provide on call support when required

What experience you’ll bring:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline and/or equivalent industry experience

• Previous experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance, and testing of ROV Tooling equipment, preferably in a subsea environment.

• Working knowledge of ROV Tooling, Torque Tools, Valve Packs, Cutters, LAOT’S, IHPU’S.

• Solid understanding with hydraulics/electrics, ability to read schematics including fault finding

What you’ll be doing:

As Sales Administrator for our Stavanger, Norway office, you will be responsible for ensuring all sales enquiries via telephone, email or web are responded to immediately and that the sales support and administration duties are completed efficiently.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include;

• Answering incoming calls/emails and directing them the appropriate internal salesperson

• Assisting with the provision & management of sales quotations, by generating ERP quotations with the assistance of the internal sales team

• Communicating potential upcoming projects and updating the ERP system with project movements accordingly

• Assisting with updating job progress through the ERP system

• Assisting with the management of hire orders on the ERP System, regularly updating project dates as required

• Purchasing and co-ordinating consumables required for job specific orders

• Preparing weekly quotation summary reports relating to recent enquiries
