Damage Loss Waiver (DLW)

Ashtead Technology offer a unique way to protect against equipment damage or loss while on rental from us.  Our Damage Loss Waiver (DLW) protection program is available for the majority of products to offset potentially substantial costs that may be incurred during the rental period.

 

Equipment covered by the DLW program incurs an additional charge, which is usually a percentage of the prevailing rental rate.  This is added to your rental contract and is invoiced at the same time as the equipment charges.

In the event of damage, the customer must notify us and the equipment returned for inspection and evaluation.  If the equipment is stolen, relevant crime numbers must be obtained to support the waiver.
